Charlene Kraft's beautiful crisp floral paintings conjure up visions of English chinz and white wicker furniture. She paints in vivid, cheerful acrylic that will brighten every mood.
She is primarily a floral and still life painter but also paints whimsical vegetables. Mrs. Kraft, is basically a self-taught artist but she has studied with Eda of Santa Rosa, California and Marilyn Simandle of Santa Barbara, California.

The "Three Basketsful" and "Sunflowers" are examples of "dechirer". In this method she first tears from heavy watercolor paper each leaf and petal, then paints each piece and subsequently mounts all on an illustration board for a unique three dimensional appearance.
